RIEL Appoints Oleksii Zozulia as New CEO
We continue our active development and are pleased to announce an important milestone — RIEL has appointed a new CEO, Oleksii Zozulia. His appointment is another step within the transformation of the management model that we began at the end of last year, as part of our preparation for further scaling and growth.
For more than 20 years, the company was led by its founder, Rostyslav Melnyk, who will now focus on strategic governance to strengthen RIEL’s resilience and openness to investment.
The updated management model envisages a more structured and predictable system that meets the requirements of international financial institutions. One of the next steps will be the establishment of a supervisory board — a key element for potential partnerships with organisations such as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, International Finance Corporation, and the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation.
Oleksii Zozulia joins RIEL with over 20 years of experience in managing large national companies. During his career, he held senior management roles at Watsons, Eva, and Rozetka, led Apteka Dobroho Dnia, and served as CEO of the Foxtrot retail chain for six years. Under his leadership, these companies demonstrated stable positive performance and consistently outpaced the market.
For Oleksii, the move into development is a natural continuation of his professional journey. He is inspired by the idea of creating products that improve people’s quality of life and shape modern Ukrainian cities. Development offers the opportunity to work with complex projects and deliver unique solutions where quality and service are decisive.
Oleksii Zozulia’s key objectives include building a consistent and systematic management model, strengthening the company’s financial stability, optimising processes, and preparing RIEL for large-scale growth.
Today, RIEL is simultaneously delivering several major projects: Brother, Sister, Maxima Residence, and Nordica Residence in Kyiv, as well as Father, Big Ben, Velyka Brytaniia, and five more projects in Lviv. These developments are an important part of our contribution to transforming the urban environment and shaping a new culture of living.
